First step towards Scandinavia with an acquisition in Norway
Strategic expansion and establishment of Junget Norway
As part of the new strategy, Junget has consolidated its sales activities in Norway into a newly established company, Junget Norway. This occurs in connection with the acquisition of HM Verktøy og Maskin AS—a family-owned company with three employees and many years of experience in sales to the Norwegian wood industry. Over the years, HM Verktøy og Maskin AS has built extensive industry knowledge, making the company a natural and strategically good match for Junget.
Hans-Martin Fahre, the former owner of HM Verktøy og Maskin AS, will become the new general manager of Junget Norway. Moving forward, the team will consist of four sales consultants, all of whom have industry experience in sales and service. With this expansion, Junget takes the first step toward strengthening its presence throughout Scandinavia.
We will bring added value to our customers
Jan Weier, CEO of Junget A/S, states: "We have long been searching for an attractive partner in Norway, which is an exciting market for us. With the establishment of Junget Norway, Junget brings its successful total supplier concept to the Norwegian market. This enables us to offer a holistic approach that creates added value and efficiency for customers."
A unified Scandinavian focus
With the acquisition of HM Verktøy og Maskin AS and the establishment of Junget Norway, Junget A/S strengthens its position as a leading Scandinavian player in solutions for the wood industry. The company looks forward to offering customers in Norway an even broader assortment, professional service, and access to new online solutions, while also leveraging synergies across the Scandinavian countries.
