Jan has previously been the managing director of Homag Denmark, and he is a well-known profile in the industry. He has previously held leading positions at RPC and Hydro (former SAPA Profiles). Jan replaces our current major shareholder and CEO, Poul Thøgersen.

Poul continues in the company as development director, being responsible for machine sales and business development in accordance with the company´s ambitious growth strategy towards 2025. Poul Thøgersen explains:” For a long time I have been looking for a strong replacement for the post of managing director, so that in the future I can focus on machine sales and business development. I am so pleased that Jan, who I have known for some years, has accepted this opportunity. Together with our great employees we will ensure Junget’s market position as full-service provider and remain market leader.”

Chairman of the board Jørgen Lægaard is also pleased to have made an agreement with Jan Weier and looks forward to the future collaboration:” We know Jan Weier as a strong and competent profile in the industry. Jan can therefore after a short period of introduction, replace our current CEO, Poul Thøgersen.  Going forward, Jan and Poul will in close cooperation with the rest of the company's management, continue and strengthen the favorable development that the company is in.
